Stanmer Park is one of Brighton's local nature reserves with endless woodlands, open lands and breathtaking views across the South Downs, National Park.
Take a break
Our walk will start at One Garden, with Qi-Gong amidst flowers, trees and butterflies. We will walk through open fields with cows and sheep and through little forest tracks to a more remote part of the forest to enjoy a beginner-friendly feel-good yoga class.
What is Forest Bathing?
The term shinrin-yoku, means "taking in the forest atmosphere". It is as simple as walking through nature and connecting with what's around you. The practice is proven to reduce stress, improve memory and offer a calm and peaceful clarity.
The event is fine even with a bit of summer rain, but we have to cancel the event in case of wind and rain warnings or thunderstorms. You will have the option to rebook or to get a full refund if the event is cancelled.
